Below is a description of some of the recent projects we have done.
| FreeTaxPrep.com Architected and developed a co-branded web site to support online preparation of Federal and State income tax returns. Developed using Weblogic application server, JSP, EJB, servlets, javascript, java, and Oracle. The site was designed to process in excess of one million returns (1000 concurrent) for a tax season. The site design implemented the Model 2 JSP architecture with Netscape web servers fronting a cluster of Weblogic application servers. A combination of JDBC and EJB was used for database access against Oracle 8i. |

Travelers Group Architected and led a team of developers for Travelers Life and Annuity to develop a new annuity payment workstation. The system provided account information from the legacy database to customer service representatives for routine account maintenance and customer queries. The workstation written in Java and JFC/Swing interfaced to an IBM DB2 mainframe database via MQSeries. Ninety (90) workstations were deployed. |
